Tokyo Tower, being the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower, is definitely among one of the greatest landmark in Japan. The tower acts as an antenna, which currently supporting broadcasting of Japan media such as NHK, TBS and Fuji TV. Apart from its technical role, it also serve as a monument for the Japanese to symbolize their rise in global economic powerhouse. Foot town - Located in the base of the tower is a 4-story building known as FootTown. The first floor includes the  Aquarium Gallery, a reception hall, the 400-person-capacity "Tower Restaurant."
  
Observation decks - Tokyo Tower has two observation decks, the Main Observatory and Special Observatory, both offer a 360 degree view of Tokyo.
